You are invited to Orang Utan Republik Foundation's “No Fuss” Fundraiser on 19 November, 5-8pm PST!
The Orang Utan Republik Foundation (OURF), also serving as The Orangutan Project USA, will be holding their 2022 Annual Fundraiser as a virtual event on Zoom on Saturday 19 November from 5pm to 8pm PST (Pacific Standard Time).
The event is being called the “No Fuss” Fundraiser because you don’t need to get dressed up or drive anywhere. OURF is calling on everyone who cares about our favourite red Great Ape to support the cause. As the event is online, you can join from anywhere in the world! (Just check the time difference in your region.)
For the price of a breakfast for two, you can help OURF to provide scholarships to future Indonesian conservationists, reduce human-wildlife conflict in North Sumatra, restore degraded forests for future habitat, and educate young people who live near orangutan populations to care about the future of their special Great Ape.
The event will be hosted and conducted by OURF volunteers including Youth Ambassador Jack Dalton (aka the Kid Conservationist) and Anthony Porter, aka the Archer Ninja Warrior.
Attendees for the event will learn about the work of Orang Utan Republik Foundation and The Orangutan Project, be entertained by musical performances, hear inspring stories, and be given the opportunity to bid on the online silent auction.
We will start the online auction on November 14th so you will have a chance to place your bids up until 7:30pm on the night of the live online event. If you are the lucky winner, you can pay through the website for the items, which will be emailed (coupons and certificates) or shipped to you.
Importantly, you will be able help celebrate the last day of Orangutan Caring Week with a committed organization that is operated by dedicated volunteers from around the world.
We will host this event on Zoom and provide you with the link to the event once you've purchased your ticket. On the date and time of the event, simply log on. In the meantime, make sure you take a look at our online silent auction and start bidding!
