Mindow is getting to be a big boy! Despite his size, he is still very sweet and gentle. He likes to play with his caregiver by rolling on the ground and holding hands with his feet. He is incredibly curious and must investigate new objects, sounds, and people. He gets much of his information through his sense of smell. He can usually be seen with his nose pressed up against everything he comes across. He is an excellent climber but still has a lot to learn about making nests. Mindow loves to eat! He even asks for food by making a “come here” motion with both of his hands. His best friend is Unyil Bejo and the two explore the forest together. Mindow is starting to become interested in female orangutans and has a crush on Mawar. Unfortunately for Mindow, Mawar wants nothing to do with him and is constantly turning down his advances. Mindow is currently 66 pounds (30 kilograms) and is thriving in his forest home.
